About Providence
Providence is a music producer, audio engineer, DJ, and father to a wonderfully creative seven-year-old girl.
His journey in music began on guitar with the Singaporean band We The Thousands, sparking a lifelong passion for the power of sound. To master his craft, Providence earned formal qualifications in sound engineering from SAE Institute Singapore and theater from LASALLE College of the Arts. Over the years, he has built a diverse career working as an audio specialist with Lin Asia, a post-production engineer at Mediacorp, and a Resident DJ and Music Director for prominent venues and festivals across the region.
Throughout his career, Providence has shared stages with world-renowned acts like Above & Beyond, Cosmic Gate, and Ferry Corsten. He has released tracks under respected Dutch labels such as Housepital Records and Royal Ravers, earning accolades including Reverbnation's #2 EDM Local Artist and a spot on Beatport's Best 15 EDM Tracks for his single "Chaos." He has also partnered with film production company YETI to compose commercial soundtracks for brands like Visa, Traveloka, and Momo, and co-founded FTWR.Co to bring unique festival experiences to life.
While he will always love the electricity of a massive main stage, becoming a father transformed his perspective. Watching his daughter discover rhythm and creativity reveals a whole new dimension of music: its ability to spark imagination, bring families together, and create lasting memories.
Today, Providence focuses his passion and technical expertise on modern, family-focused entertainment. Combining world-class audio engineering, clean, high-energy live DJ sets, and custom sound design, he creates engaging musical experiences for family festivals, brand activations, and community celebrations. His goal is simple: deliver studio-grade audio that kids love and parents can truly enjoy alongside them.
